KEY TAKEAWAY: Hire Keesha TODAY for your student’s college application planning and support!
Providing students (and parents) with a unique perspective on how to position their applicant effectively for a number of college dance programs, Keesha has been an invaluable resource and confidant to whom we are very grateful for ALL of her help and support in connection with Ash’s college applications. We received candid, thoughtful advice regarding each college we were considering. In addition, Keesha prepared an incredibly effective letter of recommendation for Ash. The letter of recommendation is an incredibly important factor in any admissions committee decision. In Ash’s case, this letter was critical - since she attended online high school, and her online teachers did not know her personally. In these situations, an effective, personal letter of recommendation from a highly credentialed and well regarded dance instructor, such as Keesha, could be the difference between getting admitted or not to the schools your child is applying to.
As for audition videos, Keesha can provide coaching, support and fine tuning. She helped our daughter update choreography that hit the mark for what Admissions decision makers wanted to see.
Beyond all of these areas of support, Keesha can provide constructive feedback and edits on your student’s essays that will form a complete and cohesive package for Admissions Committees to consider.

CHOOSING A COLLEGE IS A MAJOR DECISION.
LET ME HELP.
As a Princeton graduate, award-winning writer, ex-professional dancer, and with thirty years of experience teaching dance at studios, private schools, ballet academies, and at the college level, I have a unique understanding of how artists benefit from college study and the needs of the person who wants to forge their path in the world as a creative. Most recently I advised students at the Joffrey Academy on colleges with strong dance programs. Having piloted a program to train dancers to teach young children, I have a solid ability to build trust and mentor young dance artists, while providing a thoughtful and strategic assessment of their skills.

And bonus—I can help you with interview preparation, essays, and letters of recommendation too!
AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED
I cannot guarantee acceptance into any school. No one can. I can, however, wholeheartedly assure you that if you work with me, we will craft submission materials that show what makes you YOU.
